A newcomer in the music industry, Iera Milpan first gained public attention when her various covers of popular songs started going viral on TikTok with millions of views, an example being her cover of the popular 90’s song Balasan Janji Palsumu on Tiktok gaining over 26 million views. She has since amassed over 1.3 million followers on TikTok, with some of the videos that help her fame being her covers of popular songs that she sings at her parents’ food stall. Iera’s first single, Retak Hatiku, was released in July 2023, reaching an impressive feat as it gained over a million views on YouTube in a week.
