First founded in 2006, Khalifah is a band that is like a household name in Malaysia, consisting of the lead vocalist Yabang, Harry the guitarist, Moy the bassist and Tony the drummer. Their illustrious music catalogue consists of big hits such as Kasihnya Laila, Assalamualaikum Ustazah and Hang Pi Mana, all having become staples of classical Malaysian music. Khalifah had also won many awards in their long and impressive time together, with one notable award being the Best Performance Award from the Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-31 concert in 2017.
